The color was more of a teal than a blue. I was looking for blue, but it's still a darling invitation. If you are looking for more of a blue, I suggest contacting them first to see if they can tone down the teal, but if you are looking for teal this is it for you! We added 1/8 hole on top and tied a raffia bow to them. It almost made it seemed like we used nesting material. It's perfect for our outdoor woodsy bird theme.
